Pat Robertson blames Conan O’Brien’s
loss of ‘Tonight Show’ on pact with devil

The finger-pointing over Conan O'Brien's ouster from the "Tonight Show" ended today when evangelist Pat Robertson revealed the real cause: O'Brien's 1992 pact with Satan.

"This isn't Jay Leno's fault or NBC's doing," Robertson said. "Something happened a long time ago and people might not want to talk about it, but in the early 1990s, Conan swore a pact with the devil.

"Ever since, he has been cursed with low ratings, unruly hair and hauntings by a cigar-chomping dog puppet," Robertson said. "It's tragic."
